PAYMENT & SCHEDULING

Instructors and classes are subject to change without notice.

In studio we accept Visa, MasterCard, cash and cheque. Prices are indicated in Canadian dollars.

Sales tax (13% HST) will be collected on all classes and private sessions, as well as any and all merchandise.

Group classes are pre-registered for a set number of weeks (class series), determined by the studio, and prepaid in full. Subject to level of experience and availability, single group classes can be taken. Single group classes are by appointment only and prepaid in full. Please contact the studio via phone 905-325-1503 or email info@thatpilatesstudio.com for class scheduling.

Private Sessions must be paid in full before the first session of a package.  For first time clients the decision to purchase a package can be decided at the end of the very first session however, a credit card will be held on file per person. If the Introductory Offer of 3 Private Sessions is not taken, then the session attended will be priced as a Single Private Session.

There is no refund in whole or in part. Neither classes nor private sessions can be transferred to another client. Private Session packages will expire after one year. There will be no holds and no extensions, except in the case of a medical leave with sufficient evidence. If so, the package will be placed on hold or the client will be given a studio credit.

CANCELLATIONS

Classes require pre-registration. Payment in full is due no later than the first class session. Classes may be canceled by the studio due to low enrollment. In the event a class is canceled for low enrollment, full refunds will be issued. Clients will be notified of the cancellation as soon as is possible.

When registered in a class series (set number of weeks) or Private Sessions and the client needs to cancel a class/session, to avoid being billed for appointments not attended, please provide 24 hours’ notice for any changes or cancellations of booked appointments. This allows those on the waiting list to book a class/session. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full amount of the scheduled appointment. For pre-registered Matwork classes, two makeup classes are offered per class series as a courtesy, with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice of cancellation, and are subject to availability. Makeup classes must occur within the same class series and are not guaranteed.

THAT PILATES STUDIO rarely cancels classes or closes for weather. If a class or Private Session is canceled, we will notify the enrolled clients by phone as soon as possible. The decision to cancel will also be listed on our Facebook and Instagram pages. When possible, classes will be rescheduled. If classes cannot be rescheduled, you will receive a refund in the form of a studio credit.

REQUIREMENTS & ETIQUETTE

For first time clients, the Health Questionnaire and Release Waiver must be completed and signed before starting. Give yourself at least 10 minutes to complete paperwork, otherwise the time will become part of your 55 minute session.

Matwork Class clients need to bring their own mat or buy in studio. A thicker mat is required.

Anti-slip socks are mandatory in every private session and class for safety and cleanliness. Clients can bring their own anti-slip socks or purchase a pair in studio.

We kindly ask that you turn off or silence your cell phone before class begins, to avoid interruptions to you and others during their sessions. We understand emergencies can occur. If cell phone access is required, please notify your instructor prior to class starting.

Please refrain from wearing strong scents or perfumes to the studio.

Notify your instructor prior to the start of class of any medical conditions, injuries, pregnancy or medication that might require modifications. Safety is a top priority and requires full cooperation from all involved.

As a courtesy to you, our instructors and other clients, be sure to arrive at least five minutes before all sessions by giving yourself adequate time to get here. If you do arrive late for a class, quietly enter and start in on the next rep. Clients may be asked to sit class out if they arrive too late or are making a habit of disrupting other clients. For those private clients that arrive late, additional time will not be given as to avoid schedule disruption for the next client.
